Privacy Policy

Exergo collects only what is necessary to run the platform. We do not sell data, show ads, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, username, display name, and optional bio and avatar.
- Coin data — everything you add to your collection: descriptions, images, stories, and metadata.
- Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). Retained for up to 30 days.
How we use it
- To provide and operate the Exergo service.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). No marketing emails.
- To display your public collection to other users — only fields you have not marked private.
Private fields
Acquisition price and source are private by default. You control the visibility of every field individually from the coin edit form. Private fields are never shown to other users and are excluded from public API responses.
Third-party services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data is hosted in the US (Ohio) region.
- Vercel — hosting and CDN. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
Your rights
- Export — download your full collection as JSON from Settings at any time.
- Delete — deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your profile, all coins, and all uploaded images. There is no recovery.
- Access / correction — you can edit all your data directly in the app.
Cookies
Exergo uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
